The Debate
In this section we cover the different areas that are being highlighted in the drive to reduce our carbon emissions.

However we debate if these areas are really where we should be pointing the blame or are there areas where changes could be a lot more effective

So What Is The Problem?
There is a lot of focus on Climate Change or the Climate Crisis, how we are changing our planet with our 'emissions'. Focusing mainly on the carbon, methane and other greenhouse gases.

These are of course all very relevant discussions, the correct problems and causes should be identified. However, at Atlantis we are finding that many of these discussions are missing some other hugely relevant points when it comes to the action we should be taking.

If we look just at our energy sources; fossil fuels that are used to power our vehicles & planes, generate electricity, power our industrial processes. These make up a giant share of our greenhouse gas emissions, plus they produce harmful gaseous air pollutants & particulate matter air pollutants, that both have a terrible effect on our health.

So using fossil fuels has been proven to be harmful to us, not only to our planet but our individual wellbeing and health. Plus they are also running out. So we see no argument for continuing to use fossil fuels, apart from those who are making money from them.

So in our articles here we debate which areas should really be highlighted as a problem and the best steps that we can take to address both our air pollution and our carbon emission problems. Aiming to solve both of these problems at the source.

Recent news from The Guardian indicates that ammonia from farms is contributing to 60% of the UK’s particulate air pollution. Read More
